We now have a beautiful new grey water planter to serve the two bathrooms. Here is Ethan helping me to fill it with soil; the final layer on top of stone, gravel and sand. It is basically a giant natural filter for our bathroom grey water. We no longer produce black water since we replaced our flush toilets with composting loos, thus also saving about 150 litres of water per day.
Yet to be completed is the pipework which will be flow along the length of the tank allowing for slower absorption. We will plant up with water-loving plants and many aromatics.
