We had a lovely day yesterday in Miravet at the cherry festival. Who knew there are so many different varieties of cherries! The start of a massive paella, which we didn't get to taste unfortunately as tickets needed to be bought in advance. Nevertheless, we had taken a picnic and we found a lovely spot under a tree by the river to eat and relax. After lunch, and wandering around the stalls, we decided to walk up through the village to the castle on top of the hill. It was very hot and we kept stopping under trees for shade and rest! But the views from the castle were worth the effort.
