Update

We recently had a workaway volunteer and so a lot of progress has been made in the last few weeks.
Here is Ethan helping with the initial clearance of a pathway through our forested area. Ben the volunteer completed the job; we now have a marked pathway through the forest to an attractive oak glade on the edge of our land. A lovely place to sit and contemplate nature.

A carpenter friend built and installed a very handsome new front door; now we'll not get so cold in the winter! The old door was the original, 40 year old  one that had long since warped out of shape.

New gates for the goat and dog enclosures.

So far this season we've been able to harvest:
cherries, broad beans, peas, strawberries and potatoes.

We've still got more potatoes to come.
As far as perennial planting we have cherry trees, several strawberry plants, a couple of asparagus plants and a variety of perennial aromatics.

The grey water planter is maturing nicely.
